Only the investment earnings can be used for projects and must be approved by the Club Board of Directors. The Rotary Club Foundation (501c3) was established to support the designated funding efforts of our club for local or international projects. Your entire donation will be used only for the designated project.
Rotary Grove
The Rotary Grove began in 2002 under the direction of President Ellis B. Chenault. The Rotary Club of Decatur began planting hardwood trees at 2 of Decatur’s elementary Schools. They have expanded to all of Decatur’s schools and city parks. To date, we have planted over 175 hardwoods in Decatur. Make a donation in honor or in memory of a special person in your life. We will plant a hardwood for them and you will receive a certificate indicating that.
